Letters from the Knights of Castle Treehouse

Last September, the adults of the neighbourhood had one rare good idea and gathered together to build a place where you - the kids of the area - could play without their constant interrupting and the boring monotony of your houses. 

The Treehouse - or, as you renamed it, Castle Treehouse - was built on a pine tree in an empty lot in the middle of the neighbourhood. Every kid can easily access it and no one is a lowed to claim ownership over it. For this reason, you decided not to proclaim yourselves the Queens or Kings or Rulers of Castle Treehouse, but rather its Knights: you wi l protect it and you wi l play and live your adventures there together, as equals. 

Months went by and Castle Treehouse became - and remains - your favorite place in the neighbourhood. You’ve cared for it, you’ve improved it, you’ve shared secrets and gifts and snacks with your friends in it . you’ve even done some homework in it, and so the school year went by. 

It’s now July and you and several of your friends are about to go on vacation. Like every year, it means some weeks of not seeing each other :( 

But something has changed, this year! You have Castle Treehouse now! Though you won’t be meeting your friends there every afternoon until September, you can leave messages to each other thanks to the sma l letter box you’ve hidden in there! It could be a new, fun adventure!
